Helen Webster discusses Georgia's path from junior triathlete to number 3 in the world at the Olympic distance
Georgia Taylor-Brown is one of the World’s leading Olympic distance triathletes. From talented junior athlete she has progressed to number 3 in the World in 2018.
Originally from Manchester and now training at the British Triathlon Leeds High Performance centre, Georgia began her international triathlon career winning the European Junior Championships in 2012 and again in 2013. She also took the World Junior Duathlon title in 2012. As an athlete she is known for her running talent and has represented Great Britain at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
She persevered through a number of difficult years of injury to cement her spot as one of the worlds best in 2018 taking three podium finishes in the World Triathlon Series and claiming 3rd overall.
