This session aims to uncover aspects of pedaling technique to help you develop a more effective pedal stroke. It explains the underlying mechanics and physics of pedalling, getting to the fundamentals of forces acting on the pedals before explaining how technique can impact performance, and describing techniques and drills that can be undertaken to improve pedalling effectiveness. This session uses the Wattbikes' capability to measure pedalling metrics to demonstrate how improvements in cycling technique can be practically achieved by anyone.
